Pleasure to meet you…

My name is Elizabeth Gordon, but you can call me Beth.

(establish authority/experience)

I am a real human and I bring that into my role as a clinician. I believe that inviting you to show up vulnerably and authentically begins with how I show up for you.

My work sits at the intersection of complex trauma and the neurodivergent experience. As a late-diagnosed AuDHD therapist, I bring lived experience along with my clinical training. I know the relief of finally having language for something you've carried your whole life and the burden of masking to survive in an ableist culture. You won't need to exhaust yourself to be understood here.

Outside of therapy, I'm usually covered in mud. I make pottery in my ceramics studio and tend a small regenerative farmstead with my family. I raise a lot of birds (too many, according to my partner): chickens, ducks, quail, and one goose who's convinced she's a puppy.

When I'm not in the studio or the garden, I'm in the woods foraging mushrooms, berries, and medicinal plants. I care deeply about food justice and taking good care of the land.

I practice from a feminist, decolonial stance. I hold awareness of my own privilege and actively seek out perspectives different from mine through ongoing training and consultation with colleagues from marginalized communities. I believe therapy is political: the systems we live in shape our pain, and healing includes naming that.

I practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) under the clinical supervision of Jameson Natwick, PhD, LMFT (License #MFT.LF.60927908).
